DIY FIXER UPPER: Video Game House

Soooo, when Lindsay and her family moved out of the Markdale house around like May or June of 2013, Lindsay dragged took me to Goodwill on 50% off day to find a dresser for the baby girls. So of course, being those kind of people who can't pass up a sale AT ALL, we found multiple pieces of furniture for dirt cheap, with a promise to make them pretty at home. After Lindsay's Pinterest research (and about six months), we finally got started on the January 1, 2014! Maile and Hannah, being the little gems that they are, came to speed the process up significantly. We ended up doing three pieces for our house. The first was a big stand for the television to sit on, the second was a little cabinet with glass plated doors, and the third was another smaller cabinet. All the furniture was for the living room, and the TV stand and the smaller cabinet were already black, we were just fixing them up a little bit. So, I really only took pictures of the cabinet with the glass doors.

After much sanding, priming, painting, and sealing....

I have to go out and get cute little knobs for it, but it's all done and all my little game systems have a home!

love youuuuu <3
